Partnerships

Honest Design Journal considers collaborations that suit its subject and leave room for clear editorial boundaries. We welcome relevant proposals, but a partnership is never a guarantee of coverage, endorsement or a favourable conclusion.

Work we may consider

Possible collaborations include clearly identified display placements, partner links, event or publication notices, and commissioned material that is plainly separated from independent editorial work. A proposal should explain its purpose, intended placement, duration and any product, service or organisation involved.

Clear labels and boundaries

Paid, gifted or partner-supported content is labelled where readers encounter it. Partner placements are visually distinguished from editorial recommendations, and payment does not determine an article's conclusions. We reserve editorial control over what we publish and how it is described.

Proposing a collaboration

Use the Contact page and choose the partnership reason for writing. Include the proposed format, subject, timing and any relevant relationship or conditions so we can assess whether it fits the publication.

Our point of view

Good design rewards a second look

We look past first impressions to the choices that make an object, page or place legible and useful. Design is not only how something appears; it is also how it meets a person.
